Adrianne DeVaux
From the thundering hooves on the track to the quiet moments of retirement, I have built a life around the heartbeat of the horse. Born in Florida and raised just miles away from Saratoga Springs, New York, and on the backside of the Saratoga harness track, my early fascination with racehorses quickly became more than a childhood dream—it became my life's calling.
After a year at UAlbany, I followed my heart full-time into the world of racing to learn lessons of grit, care, and connection. Today, I am a dedicated racehorse trainer and pursue a life that revolves around the care, training, and well-being of these athletes. I am on this journey with my husband, who is also in the industry (and never says no to us bringing home a new horse!).
My purpose in life doesn't just stop at the wire. Off the track, my passion runs even deeper. I am a fierce advocate for thoroughbred and sport horse aftercare. Every horse deserves a dignified retirement and a chance to thrive beyond the finish line, including my off-track thoroughbreds Callant and Feeling Dangerous.
That philosophy runs in my family—my parents care for four retired racehorses, offering them a soft landing and lifelong home in New York.
I bring deep knowledge of the industry, hands-on experience, and a heartfelt commitment to giving back to the horses that give us everything.
